Masgard® weed control fleece is popular with both amateur and professional gardeners, as well as with gardening and landscaping firms, cemetery gardeners and municipal horticultural businesses.
 
The specially designed geotextile fabric is completely breathable over its entire surface and ensures the best possible circulation of air, water, and nutrients to the soil. The fabric improves the retention of moisture and warmth in the soil.
 
The use of weed control fleece, also called garden fleece or soil fabric, efficiently suppresses weed growth so that tedious weed plucking can be kept to a minimum. The use of chemical weed killers is no longer necessary.

Please note: This fleece with a strength of 50 g/m² is designed for use with light weed growth and a covering of bark mulch or wood chippings for surfaces that are not walked on. In areas of heavier weed growth or when covered with gravel or chippings, consider using the Masgard® weed control fleece in 80 g/m² or 120 g/m².
